My children loved these books. They were mesmerised by the YouTube videos and singing, pointing to the animals and saying things like, 'we have caterpillars at home'.

The stories were great and generated conversations about what was going on in the garden.

The kids have asked to watch and read them every day this week. They're enjoying being able to watch them and read them one after the other.

As I worked on the topic Ocean with my preschoolers, I went looking for some songs and discovered Belinda Nelson-Cobcroft's song,
Today I Saw...Out to Sea.
I particularly like the fact that you can read the book to the children first. I have many preschoolers who have English as their second language, so it is easier to learn the song after having read it.
The song is entertaining and all the children liked dancing to it.
For me as a teacher, it's also important that the children learn new words and facts while learning a song making it an holistic experience.
And of course the aesthetics of the illustrations make the whole experience even more magical.

The main focus is Belinda’s catchy and captivating songs written and sung by Belinda herself. These elevated the experience, effortlessly holding my grandchildren's attention from start to finish.
These books proved to be a delightful and engaging journey, ensuring that every moment spent reading and singing together was filled with joy and wonder.
